BAJJR is the crowdsourced data search engine. A platform is the place in BAJJR where you can gather and present links to data on a particular (fairly narrow) topic. For instance you might grow and maintain a platform on 'Albuterol in status asthmaticus'. Think of it as an 'Essential Data' collection, with citations for visualizations, databases, data collections, etc., as well as the obligatory infographics.

It does. You would be the Oximetry Curator. Or one of them, at least. Maybe someone will maintain a platform on 'Oximetry engineering'.
The curator looks for the good stuff (or already knows where it is). For instance, she might dive deep into World Health Organization repository and the decides that, of the 300 items relevant to asthma, these twenty (20) are most interesting.

BAJJR depends on your generosity, and your intellectual curiosity. As we accumulate a critical mass of original and linked material, various interest areas will emerge, curated not only by professionals in various fields (e.g., perhaps an engineer will curate a platform on oscillating mechanical ventilators), but by students, with our help.
Absolutely. And we prefer that you declare a niche platform, like 'Interleukin-6 (IL-6) in sepsis' rather than 'Interleukin-6'. You can create your own platform here.
We'd love that.
Sure. Just click here.
We all repeat ourselves. We do.
